NEW STUDENTS
Most students initially enroll for our 6-Lesson Introductory Period to allow the student time to determine level of interest and commitment before enrolling for longer periods (Full Term). In reality, six lessons is not sufficient time to make such a decision, and in fact parents should encourage their children to commit to 2 years of lessons before deciding to quit, however KMI cannot make such a heavy requirement of our new students.
The tuition for the 6-Lesson Introduction is non-refundable regardless of the reason the family/student decides to withdraw.
Once the student has completed the 6 lessons, the student/family may:
1) continue by paying the remainder of the tuition to complete the term (i.e. 9 more lessons);
2) withdraw completely;
3) pay for a few floating lessons to bridge the time before the next term begins (less than 9 lessons); or
4) enroll for the next term to continue (possibly a few weeks break).
See HANDBOOK: Tuition and Costs - Enrollment for complete details.
