STRICT POLICIES

Many teachers have a strict NO MAKEUP policy, which means that you can never reschedule a lesson and you pay for any and all lessons you miss regardless of the reason. At KMI we are NOT that strict, but we do have some serious policies to help control our costs and avoid abuse of our kindness. This is the only way we can keep our quality education affordable.

Being Careful: KMI enforces strict policies regarding timely payments, cancellations and no-shows. We MUST do this to keep our rates as low as they are. If saving money is as important to you as it is to most of our students, please read the policies carefully so that you understand them and avoid any future misunderstandings or costs.

Being Carefree: Our students appreciate a quality music education. They believe our teachers should be reasonably compensated and understand that there are real costs involved when time is wasted. Many of our students prefer not to worry about policies, and would rather be generous by saying, "Please don't worry about making up the time. You do so much for us every week." This attitude is much appreciated by all of us.

Your Choice: It is your choice how you wish to conduct the business of getting a music education, so we beg you to be fully aware of our POLICIES and make every effort to comply with them.
