MY CHILD IS IN KINDERGARTEN

Kindergarten is absolutely one of the best times to start a child into piano lessons. The Bastien Piano system has wonderful books specifically designed for younger children, and the child is still not overwhelmed by school. At the same time, the child is learning important socialization and interraction skills at school that make him/her prepared for the intense instruction of one-on-one private lessons.

Your child is still too young to begin any other instruments or voice lessons, but starting now with piano lessons will give her/him an excellent foundation to branch out to another musical instrument by the 2nd or 3rd grade.
