PRIVATE LESSONS
Music Appreciation students are expected to enroll for primary instrument lesson time of 30 min. or greater, however students Levels 7 – 9 are strongly encouraged to enroll in lessons of 45 min., and students Levels 10 – 12 are strongly encouraged to enroll in lessons of 60 min. or greater on their primary instrument. This increased recommended lesson time is simply due to the fact that the literature being studied is much longer. It is not possible even to play the pieces in a shorter lesson, much less spend time working out difficulties.

These lesson time recommendations are for primary instrument only, and any time for secondary study is in addition to the minimum needed for primary study.
